1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address (via email signup or Google OAuth)
- Display name and profile avatar
- User ID (auto-generated)
Usage Data
- AI conversations and generated content (session designs, written content, etc.)
- Credit balance and transaction history
- Feature usage patterns
Videos and Voice (Video Studio)
- Match and training videos you upload. A video is kept only until it has been analysed and is then deleted; we keep no raw footage. What is kept are the short clips of the moments found in it and the reels cut from them, until you delete them.
- If you choose to create a narration voice: a recording of about 30 seconds of your own voice, made with your consent, and the narration text written for your training videos.
Payment Information
Payment details (card numbers, billing address) are processed and stored exclusively by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Service.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To operate the referral and credit system.
- To communicate important service updates.
- To detect and prevent abuse or fraud.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Hobbit:

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.
4. Data Retention
- Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
- AI conversation history is retained to provide continuity of service.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
- Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
- Uploaded videos are deleted as soon as they have been analysed, and a video that is never analysed is deleted within a few days. Clips and reels stay until you delete them or your account.
- Your narration voice stays until you delete it in My voice, which deletes the recording and the voice model at Fish Audio together. Reels it already narrated are not changed.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
- We use browser local storage to save your language preference and theme setting.
- Authentication tokens are stored securely via Supabase session management.
- We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication protocols, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
8. Children's Privacy
Hobbit is designed for use by coaches, not directly by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
The videos a coach uploads show the children they coach. They are processed only to find moments and cut the coach's clips; we do not recognise children by their faces or name them in a clip. Coaches are responsible for having the consent their club and the children's parents require to film.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
