Hobbit Guide
From your first team to the public page in the parents' group chat: one page per feature, how it works, what is free, and the traps.
Hobbit is an AI agent for youth football coaches: it does more than answer, it reads your team, uses tools, acts for you, and asks before it changes anything. You say one thing and it writes the session plan, the drill diagram, the parent preview, the match recap. Every team you coach gets a team brain that remembers your philosophy, your roster and your history, and knows the team better the longer you use it.
The core of Hobbit is the coach workspace: one training or match on one screen. Bind a session and generate the preview before, take attendance during, speak a one-minute debrief after, and the parent recap and the next focus come out by themselves. Every other feature grew around that loop: session design feeds "before", attendance and results are "during", the voice debrief and the previews and recaps are "after", and the public page is the side parents see, with the team photographer giving that side one matching set of faces.
This guide follows the order you work in: set the team up, understand the workspace, then each feature in turn, then the parent side and your account. Every page answers three questions: what the feature does, how to use it, and whether the free plan includes it.
First time here? Start with these:
- Getting started: from an empty account to a first session plan, in eight steps.
- Hobbit is an AI agent: what it can read, do, and will not do.
- Coach workspace: how one training day runs through Hobbit.
- Free and Pro: what costs nothing, and how big the trial allowances are.
The guide opens from every screen in Hobbit: the question-mark icon in the top right corner.
Get started
- Getting started
From an empty account to a fully configured team and a first session plan, in eight steps.
- Hobbit is an AI agent
It does more than answer. It reads your team, uses tools, runs whole jobs through, and asks before every change. This page explains what agent and workflow mean inside Hobbit.
- Coach workspace
The core of Hobbit, one training or match on one screen: bind a session and generate the preview before, take attendance during, speak a one-minute debrief after, and the parent recap and next focus come out by themselves.
- How Hobbit works
An agent that does the work, a brain that remembers each team, and a training method built around game intelligence.
- Free and Pro
What the free plan includes, the size of the trial allowances, what Hobbit Pro costs, and what happens to your data when it lapses.
Chat
Training
- Session design
A complete training session from one sentence: the confirmation form, the generation, regenerating one block, exporting and saving.
- Session standards
Hobbit writes sessions the way your club runs them. Generate plans in your own structure.
- Drill diagrams
An annotated SVG drill diagram from one sentence, edited by conversation, saved to the drill library.
- 3D tactics board
Set a formation, drag the players, animate a move phase by phase, export an MP4 for your slides, or share a link.
Team
- Teams
Creating a team, importing a roster, the three parts of the team brain (profile, notes, files), and coaching more than one team.
- Players and fees
A cross-team view of every player, each child's profile, and a fee account driven by attendance.
- Calendar
One calendar for every team you coach: training, matches, weekly repeats, venues and per-event costs.
- Attendance and matches
Take the roll from the calendar, the workspace or a player profile; record scores and each player's appearance; set a starting lineup and export it as an image.
Parents and sharing
- Public team page
The team's front door for parents, no account needed: schedule, previews, recaps, players, honours. Share the link once and it stays current.
- Previews and recaps
A parent-facing preview and a post-session or post-match recap for every training and match, generated automatically and published on the public event page.
- Voice debrief
A spoken minute after training or a match becomes a structured debrief, saved to the team timeline and turned into the parent recap.
- Online forms
Sign-up forms for camps, trials and friendlies: build one, share the link, parents fill it in without an account, and the list imports into a team in one click.
- Player reports
One report per child at the end of term, drafted by the AI from real attendance and appearance data, printed as a certificate for the parents.
Visuals and writing
- Team photographer
A professional-grade player card for every child on the team, in one style: set the look with the captain as the model, lock it, generate the whole squad, and the portraits appear on the public page, the roster, lineup images and certificates by themselves.
- Writing and design
Match reports, parent letters, club posts; posters, badges, certificates, match day graphics. Two creative tools, sharing one image allowance with the team photographer.
Account
- Account
Nickname and avatar, language, light and dark mode, subscription and usage, inviting friends, deleting your account.
- Phone and desktop apps
Hobbit on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows, with push notifications, in sync with the web version.
- FAQ
The questions coaches ask most: trying it out, data, age groups, parents, payments, feedback.
