Guide
Attendance and matches
Take the roll from the calendar, the workspace or a player profile; record scores and each player's appearance; set a starting lineup and export it as an image.
Attendance, match results and starting lineups are open to every signed-in coach, on the free plan too.
Attendance
Three doors lead to the same board: the training event on the calendar, "During" on the coach workspace, and the attendance section of a player profile.
Four states per child: present, late, excused, absent. Everyone starts as present; you change only who was not there. A session where nobody took the roll counts as "not recorded" in the statistics, not as full attendance.
Sessions before a child's joined date show "not on the team yet" and do not affect their rate.
The board's second tab is Session credits: who is charged and who is waived this time, worked out from the team's deduction rules and changeable per child. Switch on "not charged for anyone" and the whole session is free. See Players and fees.
Or say it in the chat: "today Sam was excused, Leo was late, everyone else came".
Match results
A match event opens "Record match result": opponent, home or away, score. Below that, each child's appearance, minutes and goals. Players who appeared count as present, and the goals cannot exceed the team's score.
The team page's "Season" tab and "Season stats" show the season's results and each player's appearances.
Youth football is not the professional game. Hobbit records goals, but it never ranks children by them.
Starting lineup
Starting XI in the sidebar. Choose the format first (5v5, 7v7, 8v8, 9v9 or 11v11), pick a formation or lay out your own, then tap each position to choose from the roster; the bench works the same way.
Every format has presets, such as 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2 and 4-5-1 for 11v11 and 3-3-2, 3-2-3, 3-4-1 and 4-3-1 for 9v9. A custom formation is saved with the team and is there next time.
Export a 1080×1350 PNG, the right shape for a group chat or a vertical social post. Numbers, the opponent's name and the match date are optional switches on the image. Player portraits from the team photographer are used automatically.
