Guide
Player reports
One report per child at the end of term, drafted by the AI from real attendance and appearance data, printed as a certificate for the parents.
Player report in the sidebar (Pro). Pick a team, write one child at a time, and end with a certificate for each.
Writing a report
- Basics: the term (pre-filled by season, "Autumn 2026" for example), the date, the coach's name (printed at the foot of the certificate).
- Choose a player: from the roster. If the child has a team photographer portrait, the certificate uses it; otherwise a gradient placeholder.
- Highlights this term: pick from tags.
- Keep working on: pick from tags.
- Specific moments (optional): one or two real scenes, "cleared twice for a teammate against the Whales", "stayed after training to practise the weak foot". Without them the AI cannot be specific.
Then the AI drafts the comment. It reads the child's real attendance and appearances, so it never writes "perfect attendance" for a child who came half the time. Change a line or two and save.
The certificate
"Preview" shows the whole certificate; "Download" exports it. One per child, made for printing and handing out at the end of term.
A note on writing them
A report is for the child and the parents: what they did, what to work on next term, never how they compare with someone else. Hobbit's draft is written the same way.
