Free and Pro

Hobbit has one paid plan: Hobbit Pro. The free plan is not a 14-day trial; it is a tier you can stay on, with allowances on the features that call the AI.

The free plan includes

Unlimited, free for good:

• One team, with its team brain (philosophy, memo, and what you ask it to remember in the chat) and public page.
• The calendar: training, matches, weekly repeats, venues.
• The coach workspace.
• Attendance, starting lineups, match results and player match stats.
• Online sign-up forms.
• The roster: add players by hand, or import from your other teams.
• The game intelligence library: every game, its diagram, its full page and the competition mechanisms. Planning a session with a game counts as a session generation, and asking Hobbit about one as a chat.

With an allowance, gone when used:

Regenerating one block of a session counts as a session generation. Chat on the drill drawing page does not use a chat turn, and neither does confirming the form before a session plan is generated: the message that asked for the plan already used one.

Hobbit Pro includes

All of the above unlimited, plus:

• Unlimited teams.
• AI roster import: hand it a spreadsheet or a group chat list and it recognises the whole squad.
• Team memory: every time you save a debrief or a match result, Hobbit sums up where the team stands and what to work on next.
• Parent previews and recaps for every training and match.
• Player session packs, payment records and club income.
• The team library: 5 GB of files per team, which Hobbit reads.
• Writing: match reports, parent letters, club posts.
• Player reports and end-of-term certificates.
• Session review: upload a whole session's audio and compare it against the plan.
• Voice input: hold to talk in the chat.
• Bookmarks: keep the answers worth keeping.
• 50 images a month, shared between the team photographer's player cards and graphic design. They reset with your membership month, on the day it renews. Only an image that comes out counts: a failed generation costs nothing. Renew early and, once this month's 50 are used, you can go straight on with next month's. On the annual plan they come all at once instead: every paid month's 50, 600 for a year, to use whenever you like. They do not shrink as the months go by, and what is left ends with your membership. Drill diagrams are SVG and do not count.
• The game intelligence curriculum, 36 weeks (annual plan).

Hobbit rate limit

Pro has no limit on how many chats, session plans or drill diagrams you make. To keep it fast for every coach, Hobbit is rate limited: when one account uses a great deal within five hours or within a week, new requests pause until that window resets.

• Two windows: the five hour window starts with your first use and resets five hours later; the week resets every seven days, counted from the moment you first subscribed (subscribe on a Tuesday at 12:51 and it resets every Tuesday at 12:51).
• Measured by how much the work takes, not by count: a session plan weighs more than a chat turn, and the same work weighs the same at any hour.
• Normal planning never gets near it.
• What pauses is asking Hobbit for something new: chat, creating or changing session plans, drill diagrams, writing and the like. A plan that is already being written finishes.
• Not affected: the calendar, players, attendance, forms, income, the tactics board, and opening or exporting your plans; parent briefs, voice debriefs, player comments and roster import keep working.
• Images have their own 50 a month and do not count toward the rate limit.

When it lapses

Your teams, chats and sessions stay exactly as you left them; renew and carry on. A lapsed account meets a renewal prompt on its own calendar and workspace.

One thing is cleaned up: the files in the team library. After it lapses there is a grace date, shown in your account; files are removed after that date if you do not renew.

Seeing your usage

The "Usage" tab under "Account" shows the two rate limit bars and when each resets, plus this month's image usage; on the free plan it shows how much of each allowance is left. When you get close to the rate limit, a note appears above the chat box.

The "Subscription" tab shows the membership expiry and every payment you have made.
