3D tactics board
Set a formation, drag the players, animate a move phase by phase, export an MP4 for your slides, or share a link.
The 3D tactics board is a pitch you can rotate. Set the starting positions, add a phase, drag the players and the ball to where they go next, add another phase; on play, the players run through it phase by phase.
Open 3D tactics board in the sidebar. It works without signing in; saving needs an account.
Setting up
- Format: 5v5 to 11v11. Pick a formation for the blue and the red side, or add players one by one.
- Pitch: full or half, in four styles (paper, grass, blueprint, slate).
- Players: drag them into position, and give each a position or a name. With a team in Hobbit, "Import players" puts the roster on the pitch.
- Equipment: discs, cones, mini goals, mannequins, poles, an agility ladder, each of which can be rotated.
Animating
Set the "Start" positions first, then "Add a phase". In each phase drag players and the ball; runs and passes can bend (left, straight, right), passes can be on the ground or in the air, and each phase can carry a caption. Play, pause and loop are at the bottom.
Exporting and sharing
"Download" offers two things: a PNG of the current frame, or an MP4 of the whole animation, which is the smoothest and fits a slide deck.
"Save" puts the board in the Tactics library to reopen and keep editing. Every board in the library can be "shared": a public link where anyone can rotate the pitch and play the animation without an account. "Stop sharing" takes it back at any time.
Allowance
The free plan has 3 boards in total, for life; deleting one does not give the slot back. Pro is unlimited.
