Session standards
Hobbit writes sessions the way your club runs them. Generate plans in your own structure.
Hobbit ships five session structures: its own five-block Hobbit · DGC, and the shapes the English FA, US Soccer, the DFB and the KNVB each publish (compared in Session design). None of them is necessarily your club's structure. Some clubs run four blocks, some six, some name them differently, some fix the minutes of each. A session standard tells Hobbit your structure; from then on every plan follows it exactly, and Hobbit's job is to fill each block with content built on decisions and the game.
Open Session standard under Session design in the sidebar.
Three ways to build one
Read it from a plan I use (Pro): upload or paste a plan your club uses today, as Word, PDF or a photo. Hobbit keeps only the structure and each block's intent, and builds the standard in 30 seconds. The drills inside are yours and are not stored.
Chat for two minutes: describe how one of your sessions runs and Hobbit turns it into a standard.
Start from a built-in: copy any of the five built-in structures, then rename, merge and change minutes.
You can also start from blank.
What a standard holds
A standard is a name plus a set of blocks, and each block has three things:
- Its name: warm-up, theme practice, game, whatever you call it.
- Its minutes.
- Its job: describe what this block is for and what you want from it: what to train, in what form, what you care about. The clearer this is, the closer the generated session is to the one you had in mind. Leave it blank and Hobbit writes it.
Finally, notes for the whole session: limited equipment, pitch conditions, which language to use for terms, your habits.
A session runs 20 to 240 minutes in total, with up to 12 blocks.
Using it
Choose the standard on the confirmation form when you generate; the five built-ins and your own are listed together. Build several if you need them: one for indoor sessions, one for match week, one for camp, and pick per session.
Deleting a standard does not affect sessions already generated.
Allowance
Building standards is free. "Read it from a plan I use" has the AI read the file and is part of Pro.
